Vi1 SOUNDCRAFT DIGITAL CONSOLE

The Vi1 has broadly the same strengths and features as the larger Vi consoles.
It integrates control surface, DSP and inputs/outputs.
Very compact (just over 1 m wide), it incorporates all the elements of a stand-alone console, including audio and other connectors.

The Vi1 also incorporates a "Wide Screen Vistonics" user interface, simultaneously viewing on a large 22-inch, two-part touch screen, information relating to 16 channels or buses as well as the Master page with all LED indicators and the main menu.
The 2 x 16 assignable potentiometers are arranged across, below each of the two screen parts.

The Vi1 also includes four Lexicon multi-effects (identical to those found in the larger Vi consoles) and 27 BSS FCS960 graphic EQs assignable to the 27 output buses.
Not to mention Fader Glow™ technology, internal 40-bit floating point processing, coupling and copy/paste functions, and 24 Tie Lines.
All the other sections (Scene automation, Talkback, listening management) are strictly identical to those of the higher models.

Data from Shows and Libraries from a Vi6 model, for example, are loaded and modified without any problem in the Vi1.
In addition, the Vi1 is programmed via the Virtual Vi editing software.
The card slot on the rear panel can accommodate any Local Rack Vi compatible card.
It allows you to connect an external Soundcraft stagebox and integrate other input/output formats into the console.
