Hepikos is an innovative Claypaky beam-wash lamp, which contains all the most advanced optical, mechanical and electronic technologies in its very compact body. The light is built around a bright 440W Osram lamp and features a 5-40 ° zoom which provides a brilliant wash effect even at maximum beam angle.

The color production system is prohibited on a CMY color mix consisting of three wheels fully dedicated to producing unique colors, as well as two color wheels, each with 8 filters carefully selected by the Claypaky R&D department. With its 185mm diameter plano-convex front lens and narrow 5 ° beam angle, it can produce a crisp, full-bodied beam, which can be used for striking aerial effects with saturated colors.

Some devices have been specially designed for this product: a mechanical iris, which is able to modify the diameter of the beam in beam mode at will to create columns of light of different sizes, up to a pencil beam;

A four-sided interchangeable rotating prism that modulates visual effects by breaking down light into several dynamic projections;

A soft-edged anti-freeze filter that makes the edge of projected light less sharp and produces the washing effect typical of a projector with a Fresnel lens.

Hepikos is ultimately a projector hybrid , where the beam and wash functions are optimized, rather than one weakening the other. It is perfect to complement the beam / spot effects produced by the Mythos, with which it shares the same chassis and the same lamp.
