SD9 + D DIGICO RACK

While SD8 is the 'golden standard' of DiGiCo, the SD9 represents the brand's 'red revolution'. Its global launch will take place in the training room DiGiCo in Hall 8.0. The SD9is a complete, integrated system which consists of a mixing surface, a digital stage box D-Rack and digital multipair over CAT5E cable, and offers the ability to simultaneously record 56 channels directly to your favorite multitrack recording software or audio workstation. All at a price making SD9 a perfect solution for group tours, schools, conference centers, small theaters, places of worship and many other applications, where exceptional performance and flexibility must be combined, on a tight budget.

The work surface of the SD9 accommodates a large color LCD touch screen, 24 motorized faders with 10 0 mm travel also tactile, high-resolution level indicators, encoders and keys ensuring quick access to the various functions, not to mention the illuminated LCD labels, colors assignable, ensuring quick access to all functions without having to enter menus.

As impressive and intuitive as the control surface is, this is the heart of the SD9 which allows productions on a tight budget to benefit from the audio quality and flexibility of higher standard productions, using consoles DiGiCo SD7, SD8 or the range D.

THE SD9 uses the third generation of the software Stealth Digital ProcessingTM, and its Super FPGA technology provides floating point processing, for better dynamic reserve, increased dynamic range and unmatched audio quality. Of course, the SD9 also offers other significant innovations signed DiGiCo : snapshots, Global Scope function, Scope on the recall of specific channels in a snapshot, a global crossfade for each console section, not to mention 8 user macros, ensuring quick access to presets.

New D-Rack, which is an integral part of the system SD9 and which is connected to the control surface by means of a digital CAT5E cable (supplied), offers 32 microphone inputs, 8 line outputs and 8 modular outputs, selectable either in analog or in AES, which makes a total of 32 inputs and 16 outputs.

And that's not all ! The system is scalable, and allows you to connect a second D Rack, connected via an additional CAT5E cable, which doubles the number of inputs and outputs. The D-Rack can be placed on the floor or mounted in a rack, and can receive, as an option, a redundant power supply. Another option is the fiber optic link, fully compatible with any console DiGiCoof the SD range equipped with optics. The D Rack is therefore ideal as a remote rack for the stage or the orchestra, and gives access to a maximum of 64 inputs and 32 outputs on stage.
The console also offers a MADI link as standard, carrying up to 56 studio-quality channels for multitrack recording on an external computer running Logic, Cubase, Nuendo, Samplitude, Reaper, Pro Tools or any multitrack recording software, as well as to any other console or rack DiGiCo.
