12XT + LA 4 KIT PACKAGE L-ACOUSTICS

The loudspeaker comprises the coaxial assembly of a 12 '' LF speaker tuned in a bass-reflex cabinet, and a 3 '' diaphragm compression chamber HF motor loaded by the cone of the 12 ''. In the passive configuration, the filtering between the transducers is of the third order. The active linearization of the transducers and their protection results from a combination of parameters administered in the amplified controllers.

The coaxial configuration of the transducers defines 90 ° axisymmetric polar coverage without side lobes over the entire coverage range.

Made of premium Baltic birch plywood, the cabinetry was designed for versatile use of the enclosure. Two cut sides allow monitoring with two listening angles of 30 ° and 60 ° from the vertical. The 12XT loudspeaker can also be mounted on a stand thanks to the integrated base or hung with the complementary accessories ETR12-2, XTLIFTBAR or Omnimount®.

The 12XT loudspeaker is controlled by L-ACOUSTICS ® amplified controllers which optimize three operating modes in active or passive configuration (selectable by the active / passive switch located behind the grille):

• The '' WIDE BAND '' mode where the 12XT speakers are used alone on their nominal bandwidth (presets [12 XTA _FR], [12 XTA _FI], [12 XTA _MO], [12XTP_FR], [12XTP_FI] and [12XTP_MO] ])
• The '' HIGH PASS '' mode filtered at 10 0 Hz to include a possible SB18 sub-bass supplement (same presets as above with the extension '' _ 10 0 '')

In each mode we distinguish the 3 presets [FRONT], [FILL] and [MONITOR] corresponding respectively to front, distributed, or half-space configurations.

The performance of a 12XT speaker depends on the preset used and the configuration chosen.
