AES R3 CARD (FOR LA8 AMPLIFIER) L-ACOUSTICS

The LA-AES3 card has an AES / EBU stereo input and an AES / EBU pickup port to connect the LA4 and LA8 to any digital mixing console or networked digital audio distribution system, maintaining fully digital signal.

1 AES / EBU input meeting AES3 (AES / EBU) and IEC 60958 Type II (S / PDIF) specifications, protected against electrostatic discharges

Automatic and instantaneous selection of analog inputs in the event of failure of the AES / EBU input, with constant propagation delay

High quality Sample Rate Converter (SRC) accepting sampled digital audio signals from Fs = 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz

Digital input gain adjustable from - 12.0 dB to + 12.0 dB in 0.1 dB steps

1 active AES / EBU recovery port with back-up relay, ESD protected

Maximum cable length: up to 300 m (with cables certified and dedicated to transporting AES / EBU at Fs = 48 kHz)

1 USB port (reserved for future applications).

Switching conditions: no clock, loss of lock, invalid signal (validity bit), CRC error, bipolar encoding error, data offset
