PRO 2C INFO

The MIDAS PRO2C digital console offers several navigation modes (FOH, Monitor, Advanced). Its DL251 stage box (OPTIONAL) is non-modular and offers a fixed 48-input/16-output configuration.
The surface has analog and digital inputs and outputs. Signal processing (compressors, equalization, internal effects) is the same as on other Midas digital consoles.

DL451 PRO SERIES

The DL451 is a modular 3U 19″ rack configurable I/O unit that can accommodate 3 DL4 series interface cards and up to 24 audio inputs and 24 audio outputs. With two AES50 network ports and two Ethernet control ports providing dual redundancy, plus a MIDI interface (In, Out, Thru), the DL451 is the perfect partner for all MIDAS PRO series digital consoles, allowing for digital snake connection from Front of House to stage or to provide additional local I/O at the console's mix position.

Modular expansion cards

Five DL4 series card options are available for the DL451:

DL441 – 8 analog mic/line input card with MIDAS microphone preamplifiers
DL442 – Card with 8 analogue line outputs
DL443 – 8-input, 8-output analog card with ¼” TRS connectors
DL444 – 8-In, 8-Out Analog Card with MIDAS Microphone Preamplifiers and D-Type Connectors
DL452 – 8-in, 8-out AES3 digital card with sample rate conversion

The DL451 can accept up to 3 of these cards in any combination. The DLIO-BP blanking plate is also available as an accessory if not all board positions are filled.

Digital audio network

KLARK TEKNIK 's SuperMAC (AES50 compliant) digital audio networking technology simultaneously delivers high channel count, ultra-low and deterministic latencies, sample-synchronous and phase-aligned networked clock distribution, detection and error correction, network redundancy, and ease of deployment and use – to meet the high demands of live concert touring.

The DL451 is compatible with all MIDAS PRO series digital consoles and sound system engines, as well as any other 96kHz-capable AES50-equipped device.

Remote console or front panel control

All configuration parameters of the DL451 can be adjusted either remotely from the mixing console or directly via the intuitive and easy to understand front panel. The DL451 features a front panel LCD display with intuitive menu navigation for all configuration options with LED status indicators, which provide clear operating status feedback from wide angles vision and over great distances. A clear indication is provided indicating the status of the power supply output rail and the status and activity of the AES50 and Ethernet network connection.

External control ports

The DL451 has two 25-pin General Purpose (GPIO) D-type connectors for controlling external devices, one for inputs and one for outputs, which are opto-isolated to provide galvanic isolation and avoid ground loops. External trigger events received via the input port are relayed to the PRO Series control center, and external devices can in turn be triggered from the output port in response to scene change messages inserted into the console automation broadcast file running in the control center. An industry standard MIDI interface (In, Out, Thru) is also provided to send and receive MIDI messages which can also be used in conjunction with the control center automation system.

Designed for the road

Featuring a rugged steel 3U rackmount enclosure, the DL451 is built for the rigors of live concert touring. Premium Neutrik connectors are used to ensure reliable network connections night after night.
