L-ACOUTICS - KIT KUDO

With a design associating the WST® (Wavefront Sculpture Technology) and the exclusive K-LOUVER® technology, the KUDO® source line allows an adjustment of its directivity in the horizontal and vertical planes simultaneously. The system meets the needs of both fixed installation and mobile operation. It mainly consists of:

• The KUDO® active quad-amplified 3-way loudspeaker operating on the 35 - 20 kHz band • The SB18 low-frequency limit 32 Hz subwoofer extension
• The 25 Hz low frequency limit SB28 bass extension
• The LA-RAK touring rack equipped with the dedicated LA8 amplified controller.

The design of the system is based on a 3-way quad amplification using latest generation components. The tuning of the cabinet allows for a wide and solid frequency response in the lower end of the spectrum. This peculiarity gives the KUDO® the ability to be used without subwoofers for many applications, in a record performance / size ratio.

The KUDO® is equipped with a double DOSC® waveguide and benefits from an adjustable directivity process by deflectors (`` K-Louver Modular Directivity Technology '' - patent pending) which allows to adjust the directivity in the plane perpendicular to DOSC®. Four possible directivity values are offered; 50 °, 1 10 ° (symmetrical), 25 ° / 55 °, 55 ° / 25 ° (asymmetric) in horizontal or vertical configuration.

The KUDO® system can be used either as a vertical source line with variable curvature with an angular flexibility of 10 ° max per element, or as a horizontal source line with fixed curvature. Thanks to the four directivity values and the two possible horizontal and vertical orientations, KUDO® alone represents the equivalent of 8 products.
