Differential Drive Technology
JBL Differential Drive technology is used by JBL in the construction of its new humbuckers and dual magnetic elements. It allows a very significant reduction in their weight, while considerably improving their parameters of frequency response, output power and distortion. The heatsinks are integrated into the aluminum bowl, while the neodymium magnetic elements are placed inside the humbucker assembly, to create a magnetic circuit without the heavy steel structure built into conventional loudspeakers.

D2 - Double diaphragm double coil compression chamber motor
Thanks to its extended bandwidth, linear response, greater power, low distortion and high dynamic range, the new JBL patented D2 motor significantly improves sound quality and performance at high frequencies. It thus helps to give the VTX system a considerable advantage over other conventional systems, characterized by less distortion and more power handling. This makes it possible to greatly increase the sound pressure levels in the high frequencies for the same size and a reduction of 30% the weight of the system.

New generation RBI waveguide
JBL patented Radiation Boundary Integrator technology combines the high and mid frequencies of the VTX enclosure to provide seamless, distortion-free transition. A tuned resonance chamber is directly integrated into the waveguide, effectively eliminating any phenomenon of acoustic disturbance due to rear pressure from the midrange section. This new waveguide design also improves horizontal dispersion, which is wider and more stable.

Performance Manager + VRack amplification
The implementation of a VTX system is facilitated by the use of Performance Manager software and Crown Vrack amplification systems.

The VTX V20 integrates the advanced technologies and exceptional performance of the VTX V25 line array system into a high-power, small-size 3-way loudspeaker featuring a new suspension system for efficient transportation, faster setup and high precision of adjustment.
